Welcome to the Brew in the Lou 2026 Bottle Competition!

Many home brewers dream about brewing in the big leagues. The winner of our bottle competition does just that: earns the opportunity to make your award-winning homebrew in Anheuser-Busch’s Research Pilot Brewery (RPB) with a little help from A-B’s brewmasters.

For the first time this year, Mead and Cider entries are also eligible.

The RPB is a small pilot brewery that allows A-B brewers to experiment with a vast array of ingredients and new brewing techniques, along the way creating eccentric beers as well as brews that have become national staples. Now our Bottle Competition winner will have the chance to brew their home brew at the RPB. The winner will be announced at the Brew in the Lou 2025 Festival at Francis Park on October 10, 2026. Winner will be announced on Facebook Live from the Brew in the Lou 2026 Festival on the Brew in the Lou Facebook page located here.

While entry registration for the Bottle Competition ends on September 15, you can still enter the People’s Choice Competition with your home brew for a chance to take home a $100 and the trophy! Learn more about the People’s Choice Competition below.
